Youth and Children Ministries

We are blessed with more children and youth than is the case with most churches our size; although they tend to grow up and go off to college! We work to keep them alert and sharp--mentally, emotionally and spiritually!
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
Our youth are very busy in school and community activities, even through the summer. Our church also is preparing some special times of fun and fellowship during the summer. Take a look:
Bible Presentation Sunday
Each year shortly after school begins, we give age-appropriate Bibles to children and youth who are entering Kindergarten, Third Grade and Ninth Grade. During the school year our pastor and his wife offer Bible Orientation events aimed at encouraging our children and youth, as well as their parents and grandparents, to systematically explore their Bibles. MISSION AWARENESS
Blessing Boxes
Each year our children participate in our Blessing Box ministry, both by sharing from their allowances, and by helping to gather the boxes as our people turn them in. Heifer International
Recently, our kids took a trip to Heifer Ranch, where they got up close and personal with the animals, and learned a lot about this important international ministry supported my many churches, including ours. |
