April 12, 2026 ~ Second Sunday of Easter
Sermon Scripture: Luke 24:13-35
Sermon Title: "I Want Jesus to Walk With Me"
Sermon Scripture: Luke 24:13-35
Sermon Title: "I Want Jesus to Walk With Me"
Many people of faith cannot tolerate questions related to their faith. Two men walking between Jerusalem and Emmaus (about seven miles) were disoriented because they had expected Jesus, who had been crucified, to be the one to set Israel free.
What happens when we place all our hopes on the content of what we believe rather than on the one in whom we are invited to follow?
We invite you to join us in worship, either in person or on You Tube (First Christian Church, Conway, Arkansas - YouTube), or you can view the recorded service later on this website--just click on the "Worship Videos" link at the left of the page. You also can view past worship services on the same page of this website.
If you prefer reading (as I often do), and/or want to check out the footnotes that credit and document my sources, click on "Sermon Manuscripts" on the left margin of this page.
We also have an active Sunday School program for all ages! Visit our Christian Education page to see what's going on this semester!
I look forward to greeting you soon, hopefully face-to-face, but virtually, if necessary!
Together in the Walk,
Pastor Jim
